Phuket’s Big Buddha is 45 metres tall, and is not only a compelling landmark, but if you go to the summit, you can enjoy some breath-taking views.
Patong is known as the place to party, and there are numerous bars, cabaret shows and other kinds of entertainment for you to enjoy. Bangla Road is pedestrianised and perfect for wandering while buying snacks, looking at the pubs, and seeing what the street vendors have for sale. The beer is cheap, the music is loud, and everyone is up for a good time. For more shopping, make sure you visit the Phuket Weekend Night Market where you can wander throughout a balmy evening looking at souvenirs, curios, vintage goods, and stalls and sample all kinds of tasty Thai street food.

The western side of Phuket has some of the island’s most glorious beaches. Every day, nature puts on a spectacular show with a flaming sunset.
