Dubai is well-known for its glamour, world-class attractions, and endless things to see and do. Some people might think that Dubai is an expensive destination, but they may be surprised to learn that there are lots of fabulous free things to do in this exciting place.
Free things to do in Dubai
Here is some of our favourite free attractions in Dubai for you to enjoy during your trip:
Free public beaches
One of the most attractive features of Dubai is its lovely sunny climate that everyone can enjoy for free. There are so many free public beaches that you can visit during your stay including the Jumeriah Public Beach, La Mer, and Kite Beach. These gorgeous sandy beaches have lovely calm and clear water and spectacular views. People of all ages can relax, unwind, take in the scenery, and have a good time.
Explore the malls
Of course, even Dubai has the occasional day of terrible weather, but there are still plenty of things to do when the weather is bad, such as visiting the amazing malls. Dubai Mall has over 1200 retail stores and over 200 food and beverage outlets, it is climate-controlled for complete comfort. There are plenty of things to see and experience in the Dubai Mall that are completely free of charge, although if you do want to do some shopping, you will need to bring some cash.
Visit the Dubai Fountains
For a dancing water show, take a look at the Dubai Mall waterfront where you can see the famous Dubai Fountains show. Thanks to the latest technology, water can shoot 140 metres into the air, it’s a spectacular treat for the whole family and definitely a Dubai bucket list attraction.
Watch IMAGINE Dubai
For another impressive free tourist attraction in Dubai, head over to the Dubai Festival City Mall where water, surround sound and lasers come together for a thrilling experience that might include pyrotechnics and other dramatic touches. The breath-taking IMAGINE show takes place every hour from 7pm to 11pm, so there are plenty of opportunities to make sure you see it.
