DeMorgenzon Stellenbosch

Situated on the banks of Osspruit River, DeMorgenzon Stellenbosch is one beautiful wine estate in the city. Established in 2003, the popular winery is known for featuring a vintage collection of wines from across the world. Presently the estate manufactures a wide range of differently flavoured wines including Demorgenzon Reserve Chenin Blanc, Maestro White, DMZ Sauvignon Blanc and Garden Vineyards Rosé. Interestingly, wines are manufactured using authentic flavours from within the vineyard.
Neethlingshof Estate

Nestled between Bottelary Hills and Papegaaisberg Mountains, Neethlingshof Estate is one of the oldest vineyards in Stellenbosch. Founded in 1692 by Willem Barend Lubbe, the estate features a unique collection of differently flavoured wines since its inception. Wines in the estate are divided across two categories: The Short Story Collection and the Estate Range. The Estate Range of red and white wines includes Merlot, Shiraz, Pinotage, Malbec, Cabernet Sauvignon Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Sauvignon Blanc.

 

Koelenhof Winery

Koelenhof Winery is yet another famous winery. Founded in 1941 by De Vries family, the popular winery was among the firsts to manufacture Cinsaut Blanc, white wine produced from red grapes. Wines at Koelenhof have been classified into two categories: Koelenhof Wines and Koelenbosch Wines. The former caters to wines and non alcoholic juices while the latter deals only in authentic wines manufactured from unique raw materials. Pinotage Rose, Koelnektar, Koelenberg, Sauvignon Blanc Vin-Sec and Pinorto are the popular wines from the winery.

 

Vergelegen Wine Estate

Located in Somerset West, Vergelegen Wine Estate is one of the oldest wine estates in the country. Founded in 1700, it is renowned for its range of handcrafted wines manufactured using the best of the ingredients. Having received various accreditations for the quality of wines, the produce in the estate is classified into three categories including Flagship Range, Reserve Range and Premium Range. Vergelegen V, Vergelegen G.V.B. Red, Merlot, Shiraz, DNA, MMV Brut and Semillon Straw Wine are among the popular wines featured at this estate.

 

Blaauwklippen Wine Estate

Founded in 1682 by Gerrit Jansz Visser, Blaauwklippen Wine Estate is known for manufacturing and producing authentic wines using natural ingredients. Wines at Blaauwklippen Wine Estate are classified across 9 categories including Reserve Selection, Vineyard Selection, Cultivar Selection, The Pony Express, Bubbly, Specialities and Bandies, Noble Late Harvest, Magnums and Gin. Merlot Reserve, Shiraz Reserve, Cabriolet and White Zinfandel are among the popular wines available at the estate.
