The food comprises 80% local and organic ingredients.
Situated in Mahé, the Marie Antoinette makes food in a traditional manner, using local organic ingredients. The dishes are reasonably priced, while the ambience of the restaurant is warm and relaxing. The grilled fish and lobsters are greatly cherished. Travellers must head to this place for lunch on Sundays. The delectable and inexpensive Creole buffet wins the hearts of patrons. It’s also a good place to mingle with the locals. Chez Batista is open for lunch from 12 PM to 4 PM.
Fish Trap Restaurant & Bar
Located in La Digue, the Fish Trap Restaurant & Bar is a stylish and trendy restaurant for seafood specialities and other dishes. The outdoor decking area offers scenic sea views. Cocktails and other beverages are available as well and it’s a treat to watch the sunset over drinks. The restaurant is open from 12 PM to 3 PM and 7 PM to 9 PM daily. The bar is open from 7:30 AM to 10 PM.
