The gorgeous country of Mexico draws travellers from around the world. It has everything one wishes to see; from man-made structures to natural beauty. Availability of various fun-filled activities makes this place all the more desirable! As most of you are probably aware of the major attractions in Mexico, here we have listed some of the offbeat places.

Todos Santos

A charming town in the Pacific coast of Baja California Peninsula, Todos Santos is highly popular among artists. There are many outstanding art galleries and other vibrant venues here. It is home to top-notch restaurants, hotels, and historic monuments. Countless fishermen, New Age spiritualists, and surfers make up most of the population. The hospitable nature of the locals also endears tourists.

Copper Canyon

Hikers gear up to explore the Copper Canyon! It’s a chain of majestic canyons that has derived its unique name from the copper-green hue of the canyon walls. The temperature is modest here from October to November and from March to April. Those who love nature will be glad to know that the area has nearly 23 species of pine and 200 varieties of oaks.

Puerto Escondido

A paradise for surfers, the Puerto Escondido is a picturesque town with a beautiful bay and massive rock formations. As the atmosphere of the place is laid-back, one happens to get in the same mood. In other words, Puerto Escondido is perfect for travellers who want to relax in a foreign land. Surfers can show their skills in the oceanic waves. To make nights truly memorable, party-animals can have an enjoyable time at El Adoquin – a well-known pedestrian main street.

So, you’re a thrill–seeker? Then, head to Sayulita right away! Sayulita is a village famed for exciting activities like horse-back riding, fishing, swimming, and snorkelling. Surfing is common in this location too! Shopaholics can spend time and money at fashion boutiques, galleries and street markets. The international airport at Puerto Vallarta is roughly 50 kilometres away from it. Sayulita is a safe, affordable, and action-packed spot.

Morelia is a UNESCO World Heritage Site famed for its well-preserved colonial buildings and layout of the historic centre. Other than featuring tourist attractions, this city and municipality hosts multiple fiestas such as Festival Internacional de Música de Morelia, Festival Internacional de Cine de Morelia, Zapata Vive Morelia Festival, and Festival de Escala. One can forget all the worries of the day and just enjoy in these festivals and events!
