Spend a day at Petrosains, The Discovery Centre

Also called Petrosains, Petrosains, The Discovery Centre is a Malaysian science and technology museum where kids as well as adults can have an interactive learning experience. The museum organises various workshops, shows, ground-breaking activities, special themed events and travelling exhibits taking you into the true world of science. Besides, the museum is home to a cafe where you can simply sit back, relax and have a scrumptious meal. You can also get your hands on a piece of Petrosains from the gift shop within the museum.

Spot wildlife at Kuala Lumpur National Zoo & Aquarium

If your kids are fond of wildlife, Kuala Lumpur National Zoo & Aquarium is the place to be when in the city. Located a few kilometres north of the city, this sprawling wildlife sanctuary is home to a forest, lake and 16 animal exhibits where kids would love to spot the exotic animals native to Malaysia such as leopards, elephants and orangutans. You will also get a chance to spot here some rare animals from across the globe and two giant pandas from China. You can take a walk across the zoo or can go for tram rides that are available for a surcharge.
