This is a private museum that displays the home of the famous Fakir Family of Lahore. People from all over visit this place to explore the single largest privately-owned museum in South Asia. On display are swords, upholstery, furniture, books, jewellery, pieces of art and so on. You can decipher from the tastes and preferences of this household, how people lived here years ago and how that lineage has been passed on to the present day.

 

Mohatta Palace

Situated in Karachi, this palace museum is nothing short of a fairytale brought to life. It was supposed to be a summer home for a wealthy Indian businessman and was designed by Agha Ahmed Hussain back in the year 1927. This 18500 square feet property is full of intricately designed elements that will leave you admiring the art and architecture that went into it. The arches, the carvings, the motifs, the grandeur of this palatial property – all of it will leave you enthralled.

 

Lok Virsa Museum

From textile to pottery to statues and pictures, this museum displays it all. You will be transported to an older version of the country and can find yourself staring at these incredible creations in awe.
