India is a land of much diversity and varied cultural backgrounds – and none better than the township of Auroville to illustrate this point. This really curious township situated in Pondicherry, Tamil Nadu, founded in the year 1968, is home to people from different parts of the world, which resonate with the ideologies and beliefs that this place has to offer. Spiritual leader, Mirra Alfassa was the founder of this unique community that thrives on the novel principles and non-religious ideologies.
