One of the most beautiful holiday destinations in India, Goa is not just a place for partying like crazy, it is also a state that’s blessed with abundant yet serene natural riches which is best explored at beaches that are relatively lesser known and much quieter and calmer as compared to other famous beaches of Goa.

Beaches-in-Goa-India

Velsao Beach

Starfishes and seashells are going to greet you on this beautiful, less visited beach. The lakes here bear beautiful lilies, and the shallow waters are the perfect spots to spend a romantic evening with your special person. Watching the sun set gloriously into the depths of the sea is a sight you wouldn’t want to miss.

Ashwem Beach

This beautiful sunny beach is a great place if you want to relax and unwind, yet want to steer clear from excessive crowds and noise. The clear blue waters, the sun loungers and the perfect cocktails – what else are dreams made of? This beautiful place is home to the Olive Ridley Turtles that come here each year to lay eggs. There are beautiful markets and boutiques and art galleries nearby that you can explore too.

Betul Beach

Located near Margao, this place is more of a fishing village than a beach. Nevertheless it is an extremely beautiful place, there are amazing hiking trails here and you will be enthralled by the 17th century fort here. There are a lot of small shacks here that sell amamzing food and drinks. This is a place if you are looking for an adventurous, private getaway.

Hollant Beach

Colourful, palm fringed Hollant beach is a hidden gem in the true sense. The clear sands, the rustic look of the shacks and the boats and the ample swimming you can do here, because the beach lacks current; it is one perfect place you must explore when in Goa.

Kakolem Beach

This beach is nothing short of a movie set. The hills that surround it, the forests and the perfect waters; it brings to life any adventure/thriller movie you may have seen. If trekking is your thing, you are going to have pleasant surprises here. You must know that this is a deserted beach and doesn’t receive too many travellers, so you wouldn’t find many eateries here.

Cola Beach

This is another beautiful beach, hidden and less explored. This beach features beautiful huts where you can sit and relax; watch the day go by while you’re working on your tan. The tranquil surroundings and the minimalistic existence of this place are going to leave you enthralled.

Arambol Beach

This place is blessed with a bohemian vibe and you can have an amamzing time here indulging in barbeque parties, exploring the flea markets around and trying various adventure sports such as paragliding and kite surfing etc. This place is a perfect destination because even though there are people here it’s not crowded or noisy.
