Maharajas’ Express

The Golden Chariot

Launched in 2008, the Golden Chariot encompasses several World Heritage Sites in South India. Recently awarded “Asia’s leading luxury train” at the World Travel Awards, 2013, the train flaunts elegant blue and golden interior and is renowned for its impeccable hospitality. The 11 guest cabins, each named after different ruling dynasties, are big treats for the passengers. Multi-cuisine restaurants, bars, Ayurvedic spa, and mini gym are some of the facilities and amenities available onboard the train. Pride of the South and South Splendour are the routes of the Golden Chariot, connecting all major tourist spots in the states of Goa, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and Kerala.


Royal Rajasthan on Wheels

Taking you through the land of rajas and maharajs, Royal Rajasthan is the luxury train that reflects the rich heritage of Rajasthan. With 14 luxury cabins and terrific interiors, spa services, and multi-cuisine restaurants and bars, the train promises a splendid time to you with all the luxury and comfort. The train takes you through majestic forts, palaces and picturesque landscapes of the Rajasthan across Jodhpur, Udaipur, Chittorgarh, Sawai Madhopur, Jaipur, Khajuraho, Varanasi and Agra.


Palace on Wheels

Palace on Wheels, re-launched in 2009, recreates the bygone era of royalty and grandeur. The train displays the rich Indian culture, through many paintings and handicrafts and offers a delightful journey across the erstwhile royal province of Rajasthan. The coaches, two dining cars and 14 deluxe saloons, all designed in a true Rajasthani style, offer a peak into old world of the regal and royals of India. Palace on Wheels travels through Delhi, Jaipur, Sawai Madhopur & Chittorgarh, Udaipur, Jaisalmer, Jodhpur, Bharatpur and Agra.
