Dubai holidays have a great reputation for offering a range of activities that everyone will enjoy. Whether it’s the sea, the sun, amazing restaurants, or fabulous shopping you’re after, holidays to Dubai 2022 will provide fun, excitement and a great chance to relax.

Dubai Holidays

For holiday-makers who want some warmth, they will be pleased to know that Dubai really only has two settings when it comes to temperature – warm and very warm bordering on extremely hot. During winter in the UK and the rest of the northern hemisphere, Dubai weather is gorgeously warm and very appealing to tourists. In the summer the temperatures rise, and the locals may be staying inside the air-conditioned spaces. For committed sun lovers, the hottest Dubai weather may be just what they want. But when it gets too much, you can always retire to a lovely cool mall, or restaurant. Or just put a hat on and plenty of sun cream and sit in your hotel’s pool.

High season and low season in Dubai

High season for Dubai weather is the months from November to April. At this time of year, the temperatures are moderate and generally delightful. This is the time of year when you’ll find Dubai is bustling with lots of events and large festivals and if you want to explore the region on foot – or even camel – then this is the time to do it. Excursions into the desert and alfresco dining are very popular during high season.

Shoulder season is the months of May, September and October. During these months, the days are hot and the evenings are pleasant. Prices are a little lower in shoulder season so you may find some great bargains. Dubai will also be a little quieter and the beaches will be less crowded, which will appeal to some holiday-makers.

June, July and August comprise what is known as the low season. This is when the weather is at its hottest and most humid. But this can still be a great time to visit, depending on what you enjoy doing. Air-conditioned malls and hunting retail opportunities become a big attraction at this time of year and if shopping is your focus, then you might find some terrific deals.

The most glamourous and luxurious hotels also offer their best rates at this time, so if you want to stay in the best places and can’t afford high season prices, then this might be the time to make all your resort and hotel accommodation dreams come true. Restaurants, of course, are air conditioned, so this could be the season to experience what all the best chefs are offering without having to book months ahead.
