If you’ve been to Dubai more than once, you probably wouldn’t want to do the obvious, touristy stuff. You would want to explore the place more and get to know life here as the locals live it, or probably do such unusual and interesting things that only a few holiday-goers experience.

  1. The Cirque Du Soir

Walk into an episode of the Moulin Rouge and get enthralled by the jugglers and the fire breathers, aerial artists and dwarves, magic shows etc; it’s like a live circus and you are a part of it! You can enjoy this poetic and thrilling experience with your friends and family or even alone.

  1. Visit the Dubai Coffee museum and enjoy a cuppa!

Meet a coffee connoisseur in one of Dubai’s oldest places to brew a fine cup and enjoy some of the best local blends. Located in Al Fahidi, it is the largest coffee museum in the Middle East. You can not only relax here with some of the most magnificent coffee blends of all times, but also earn how it’s made. The brewing pots used here are some of the oldest, brought in from Ethiopia, Yemen and Egypt. The traditional Japanese Siphon method is used for the same, and it creates magic in your cup every time.

The Unconventional Dubai Tour

  1. Food is fun!

Dining lights out!

This is one crazy experience that you need to have once in your lifetime. Dining in the dark is something you can do at Noire. The gourmet food will be served to you in pitch black. The waiters here are equipped with night vision glasses so that they can serve you food without tripping around.

The healthy option

Dubai has a pretty elaborate food scene and there are a number of different cuisines and different restaurant ambiances for the experience. Cafe Dum Dum Donutterie is one place where you can find healthy doughnuts. Bjorn Frantzen is a place where you can try authentic Norwegian cuisine in Dubai.

Cook up a storm

If you want to try something other than visiting restaurants and eating; try cooking on your own! The ‘Culinary Boutique’ is a place where you can take instant cooking lessons, and give Gordon Ramsay a run for his money. You can choose to learn typical Emirati cooking or cuisines from different parts of the world.

  1. Penguin Power

Like a soul-pleasing oasis in the desert, is ‘Ski-Dubai’ where you can try your hand at skiing! It is an amazing experience, and you can even meet penguins here. Don’t tell us, that cuddling with a squishy Penguin at least once in your life hasn’t been on your travel list!

  1. Splash!

The Wild Wadi water park is a place you should visit to cool off, and find some respite from the Dubai sun. It’s a huge place, with several interesting rides, and you can have fun here with your entire family. There are 30 rides as well as different play areas, designed for people of different age groups; so you can find something that interests you. The Juha Theme here and the water park’s close proximity to the Burj Al Arab are reasons why you could spend a memorable time here.
